Slimport Circular Metal Vision Frames
Slimport circular vision frames with their clean
lines enhance the appearance of any door.
This flush fitting design is available in stainless
steel, or zinc plated mild steel ready for colour
coating, or electro-phoretic architectural finishes
on mild steel including brass, bronze and chrome.
Now practical vision requirements need not
compromise aesthetics. Slimport vision frames
with their unique flush fitting design are the
answer. Ideal for luxury office suites, corridor
doors, classrooms etc.
The fixings are around the bevel and not directly
on the face – this improves the visual appearance.
The flush fitting rim is ideal for ‘clean room’
situations. Security fixing on one side only
prevents unauthorised tampering yet, in the event
of glass breakage, allows easy replacement.
The ZEROplus top selling Slimport is a circular
vision frame for installation in doors, walls and
partitions. It is available to suit four different door
cut-outs: 250mm, 350mm, 450mm and 550mm.
With countersunk holes in the bevel return on one
side only, and 25mm screws that pass through the
door cut-out and fix internally, the Slimport looks
good aesthetically, and is totally free from visible
fixings on the corridor side.

Installation
The Slimport low projection porthole is available in four diameters and offers concealed fixing one
side, and screw fixing through the bevel on the other side. The fixing screws pass through the door
cut-out and fasten to the opposite side of the vision frame, eliminating the need to drill the door
for through bolts. They are designed for flush fitting to both steel and timber doors.
Door and glass thickness: To suit 44-46 mm doors and 6mm thick glass (supplied separately). The glazing pocket is 10mm wide.
Glazing tape and intumescent strips:
1.6mm and 3.2mm polyvinyl chloride foam glazing tapes with pressure sensitive adhesive on both
sides are available. Also FS2002 hard puff intumescent strip 1.6mm and 3.2mm thick for fire doors.
Fasteners:
Supplied with 4.2 x 25mm self tapping screws, raised countersink Phillips recessed head.

SC: 18 GA mild steel, satin chrome
